Introduction
Welcome to Miloc.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Miloc app and related services. By downloading, accessing, or using Miloc, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use Miloc.
About Miloc
Miloc is a location-based app that lets you share your real-time location with the family and friends you add, and save personal memories tied to places.
- real-time location sharing is opt-in and works only with friends you add
- you can pause or stop sharing, or remove a friend, at any time
- Miloc also lets you save personal memories with a note, a photo, and a location
Eligibility
You may use Miloc only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws of your jurisdiction.
If you are under the age required by applicable law, you may use Miloc only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Your Use of the App
You agree to use Miloc only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not violate the rights of others.
You agree not to:
- use Miloc for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose
- use Miloc to track, monitor, or locate any person without their knowledge and consent, including stalking or harassment
- upload or store content that infringes the rights of others
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of the app
- attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code except as permitted by law
- misuse the app in a way that could damage Miloc or other users’ experience
Location Permission
Miloc uses location to power real-time sharing with your friends and to tag the memories you create.
If you do not grant location access:
- you can still use other parts of the app
- real-time location sharing will not be available
- you will not be able to create a location-tagged memory
You control location sharing at all times and can pause it, stop it, leave a remove a friend, or withdraw location permission in your device settings.
Location Sharing
Real-time location sharing is opt-in. Your location is shared only with the friends you have added and only after you choose to share.
You must not use Miloc to share another person’s location without their knowledge and consent. Location sharing is intended for family and friends who agree to share with one another. You are responsible for ensuring that everyone whose location you access has consented to share it with you.
Location information may depend on device, network, and third-party services and may not always be accurate, complete, or timely. Do not rely on Miloc for emergencies or situations where inaccurate location could cause harm.
Email Address
You may optionally provide an email address in Miloc. If you do, you agree that we may use it to send you product-related notices about Miloc and to help restore your account and Premium entitlements if you reinstall the app or switch devices.
These are not third-party marketing messages, and we do not sell or rent your email address. Providing an email is not required to use core features. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, change or remove your email in the app, or delete your account. You may also contact us at miloc_ios@126.com.
Subscriptions and Purchases
Miloc offers Miloc Premium, which unlocks unlimited access to premium features. You can get Premium through an auto-renewable subscription or a one-time Lifetime purchase. All plans unlock the same Premium features; the Lifetime option is simply a single payment with no recurring subscription.
- Subscriptions are auto-renewable and are billed to your Apple ID.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Payments are processed by Apple; refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies.
Prices and available plans are shown in the app before purchase and may change over time.
User Content
You may create and store content in Miloc, including memory text, photos you upload, time and date information, and location-linked memory records.
You retain ownership of the content you create, to the extent permitted by law.
However, you are solely responsible for the content you upload, create, or store in Miloc. You agree that your content will not:
- violate any law or regulation
- infringe any intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights
- contain harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate material
App Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Miloc at any time, including features, content, or functionality.
Some features may change, be limited, or be removed in future versions.
We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Privacy
Your use of Miloc is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, including any email address you choose to provide.
Intellectual Property
Miloc, including its design, branding, text, graphics, software, and other app content, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of Miloc except as allowed by law or with our prior written permission.
Third-Party Services
Miloc may rely on third-party services, such as cloud, storage, analytics, or crash reporting providers.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of third-party services.
Disclaimer
Miloc is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the app, including warranties of availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Location results may depend on your device, operating system, network conditions, and third-party location services. We do not guarantee that location information will always be accurate or complete.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miloc and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the app.
If applicable law does not allow certain limitations, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Miloc at any time if:
- you violate these Terms
- we are required to do so by law
- continued operation of the app or your access is no longer feasible
You may stop using Miloc at any time.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of Miloc after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.
